She Loves Tech
Problem Statement 1 - She Loves Tech (SLT) Tech platform currently hosts the data of 13000 women led and women impact startups from 100+ countries. As startups' activities change very quickly from time to time the data needs to be continuously updated and reflected in the platform.
We need to build a solution to allow the automation of data fact checking and updates to lessen the manual effort of the internal team and bring real time updates for the public users that are accessing this data without the startups and or the internal team having the need to consistently update this data manually.
Sample data that needs to be updated: Raising Rounds (Last Funding Type), Company Size, Total Funding Amount
How can the data above be automatically updated, extracting the information from publicly available data platforms such as crunchbase (https://www.crunchbase.com/) ? So whenever there is an update/change of the information above it will automatically be shown in our platform too.

Hint: Power Apps, Power BI
Problem statement 2 - One of the functions of SLT platform is the startup discovery platform especially for public users such as investors who are seeking for gender lens startups to invest.
We need to build a solution to allow the automation of curated matching of startups lists for investors that aligns with their interest and requirements.
Currently our matching is done manually. We match 1 startup with 1 individual based on their industry and/or regions/country and/or company stage matching. We manually introduce them via email and facilitate their meeting online.
For Example (1)
→ Investor A, Company A, Investing in South East Asia, with an interest Healthcare Technology & Medical Technology, investing in Pre-Seed - Seed startups
Matched with
→ Founder B, Startup B, Operating in Malaysia, with product and focus in the Healthcare Technology, Startup B is currently in Seed stage
For Example (2)
→ Investor C, Company C, Investing in Australia, agnostic with industry (meaning they invest in any industry as long as it’s based in the region and are interesting to them), investing in Pre-A- Series B companies.
Matched with
→ Founder D, Startup D, Operating in Australia, with product and focus in the Education Technology, Startup D is a Pre-A series company.

For clarity, the expectation is that I can choose to deliver a solution that addresses one problem statement for this one right?

Hi Ally! You can choose either of the problem statements or do both, it's up to you, but the minimum is one :)
